Product Design

Process
Open and frequent communication is the key to a successful project. From the first meeting, Tamara is focused on making sure we meet your expectations so that you can achieve your goals. The following process provide you a roadmap of a typical project.
The stages of product development process included:
- Introduction meeting and requirements discussion
- Statement of work (Consept) is developed
- System design and architecture development
- Detailed design
- Prototype development and testing
- Pilot release delivery and acceptance test
At the end of each stage, a design review is conducted with the client to ensure the development is meeting the requirements. This is in addition to distribution of regular status reports and meetings to keep you informed of the project’s progress.
Introduction Meeting
Introduction Meeting and Requirements Discussion
The purpose of the introduction meeting is for you to gain an understanding of Tamara’s capabilities and for Tamara to gain an understanding of your product requirements. This information exchange is often done under a non-disclosure agreement. We understand the need of our clients for engineering successful systems through formal system engineering processes. Therefore we work with them to define and understand their needs and required functionality early in the system lifecycle.
Consept Development
Statement of Work (Consept) is Developed
We play a major role in jointly conceptualizing and formulating architectures and solutions. With the information gathered during the introduction meeting and subsequent requirements discussions, Tamara will put together a Statement of Work (SOW)-Consept that outlines the scope of the project, assumptions that have been made, items needed from the customer, project deliverables along with time and cost estimates.
System Design
System Design and Architecture Development
Once a SOW-consept is signed, system design and architecture development begins. This high level design phase allows Tamara to investigate design strategies
Detailed Design
Detailed Design
Hardware and software design is completed during this phase. Throughout the project you are kept up to date on project progress through regular project status meetings and reports
Prototype Development
Prototype Development and Testing
Tamara will build and test prototypes to ensure products meet their requirements
Acceptance Testing
Pilot Release Delivery and Acceptance Testing
With a final design tested and debugged, Tamara can also manage small pilot runs of products and perform final system acceptance testing. With the completion of the project, pilot units, design files and software will be delivered. Tamara will also conduct post project interviews with key contacts to ensure your feedback is captured for future projects and to allow us to track quality metrics.
